Trevor
Sheehan.
Trevor is Method’s co-founder and winemaker. His early wines included small-lot Chardonnay from the Beckstoffer Vineyard and Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain, setting the direction for a career rooted in California wine.
At Method, he brings that experience to sourcing and blending Cabernet Sauvignon with rich fruit and balanced oak. His partnership with Ian grew from a shared admiration for Bordeaux and a desire to make characterful California wines at exceptional value.

Ian
Cauble.
Ian is a Master Sommelier and Method co-founder, known to wine lovers from the documentary SOMM. After studying at Sonoma State University, a harvest in Portugal and extensive travels helped shape his perspective on the great wine regions of the world.
In 2011, he was named Best Young Sommelier in the World in Athens and won TOP|SOMM USA. He brings that worldwide perspective and his admiration for Bordeaux to his partnership with Trevor—a shared search for California Cabernet with character, balance, and value.
